Joel Mutakubwa has replaced Emmanuel Kalyoowa at BUL FC.
In a bid to strengthen the goalkeeping department, BUL FC has acquired the services of Joel Mutakubwa on a two-year contract.
Mutakubwa is crossing over from neighbours Gaddafi FC who are undergoing a massive restructuring as they lay a number of senior players.
The goalkeeper played for a year for the Soldier Boys reuniting with coach Wasswa Bbosa who was with him at Express.
However, he faced stiff competition from Chrispas Kusiima, who was in charge of ten league games.
Mutakubwa joined Gaddafi after winning the CECAFA Kagame Cup with the Red Eagles.
He was also part of the Uganda Cranes team that took part in the Africa Nations Championships this year.
Mutakubwa replaces Emmanuel Kalyoowa, whose exit was confirmed by the club on Monday. He will compete against Saidi Keni and John Okurut, who is returning to the club.
