Burkina Faso is plotting Nigeria's downfall when they clash in the quarterfinal of the U17 AFCON after dumping neighbors and defending champions Cameroon out.

Burkina Faso are not ready to exit the U17 AFCON and are planning to prove that when they face Nigeria in the quarterfinal.

The Stallions and Nigeria will go head-to-head in the last eight on Thursday with so much at stake for both sides.

Four tickets to the FIFA World Cup are up for grabs when the remaining eight teams take to the pitch in the quarterfinal slated to start on Wednesday in Algiers.

Burkina Faso plan to beat Nigeria

The Burkinabes put on a show in their final game in Group C to book their spot as one of the best losers alongside South Africa, who needed the West Africans to do them the favour against the holders.

They defeated defending champions Cameroon 2-1 thanks to two goals in two minutes to set up an intriguing date with Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets in the last eight.

Ahead of the World Cup decider, Burkina Faso’s coach, Brahima Traore has his eyes firmly fixed on sending Nigeria home as his Burkinabes came to Algeria to get a World Cup ticket and also win the title.
