Golden Eaglets forward Charles Agada has said ahead of Nigeria's 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal with Burkina Faso, that the team looking forward to converting chances they create on Thursday.
Agada who had featured in the earlier group games against Zambia and Morocco as a substitute, started Nigeria's last fixture against South Africa, scoring the first of three goals for the Golden Eaglets in the 3-2 victory.

Speaking ahead of Thursday's quarterfinal match with Burkina Faso, the teenage striker expressed his excitement at getting his first goal for the team, adding that the team are eager to convert every chance they create in Algiers.
“I am so happy to score my first goal for Nigeria in the game against South Africa. We worked hard for the victory as a team and I thank our coaches for helping us,” Agada said.
“We pray to play very well according to instructions of our coaches. Burkina Faso is a good team, but we are optimistic about winning by converting our chances into goals. We will work very hard to win the game,” he added.

Ugbade says Golden Eaglets cannot drop out now
“The quarterfinal matches will be very hard nuts to crack because that is the step that earns you the World Cup ticket," coach of the Golden Eaglets Nduka Ugbade said in an interview ahead of Thursday's game.
"Our interest is now Burkina Faso, and we are working hard towards achieving success. We have not come this far to drop out. My boys are focused hard on the World Cup ticket. After that, we can then focus on other objectives.”
