FKFPL Tusker new signing John Byamukama ready to embrace Kenyan heritage
The Ugandan midfielder is aiming to continue Tusker's legacy of success after joining from Ugandan outfit Express SC
“We will also be playing Singida somehow. We will play three matches in Arusha. We are leaving here on Sunday. We will be there for one week as we continue preparations for the next season.”
Meanwhile, Matano insists that his side do not regret losing two trophies at the final hurdle last season, but feels they must learn quickly in order to make amends this time round.
“We do not regret, winners never regret. We just look back at what happened and then you become stronger because winning and losing is part of the game," he added.
“When you lose, you see a lot of mistakes, maybe we did not do much as we expected, maybe we took things for granted the way we lost. Those are learning curves.
“That is why I brought these boys in. They have the energy, hearts and want to make names for themselves so they can do more for us.
“They are not just changes, they are meaningful changes. You can change, yes, but how are you changing? You change for the better.”
