Gor Mahia's title aspirations hang in the balance following Sinisa Mihic's spat with members of his technical bench.

Gor Mahia coach Sinisa Mihic is a troubled man just months into his tenure with the FKF Premier League Champions.

The Croatian who joined Gor Mahia in February has guided  the side back into title contention after a rocky start under former Brazilian head coach Leonardo Neiva.

Mihic took over from Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno who had been elevated to an interim position following Neiva's departure.

Upon Mihic's arrival Otieno was demoted back to his assistant capacity to help the Croatian steer Gor Mahia’s title retention charge.

That task now seems to be up in smoke with Mihic falling out with his backroom staff, Otieno among them.

Besides Otieno Mihic has reportedly fallen out with assistant Michael Nam and Team Manager Victor Nyaoro.

According to Nation Sports the Gor Mahia coach  sent the pair packing sighting backstabbing and blackmail.

The fall out happened on Friday during a training session which Otieno himself did not attend having earlier had a spat with Mihic.

"There is no way I'm going to work with them because I can't be blackmailed. These are people I have tried to work with, lent them money. I have even used my own money to facilitate some of our activities on my own good will. Why are they sabotaging and fighting me?" alleged Mihic as quoted by Nation Sport.

"I can't, out of influence, play those who are not following instructions. Kenyan players are even better than some of the foreigners they want me to field in games. Furthermore, I have served as an assistant coach before in various teams but I haven't behaved or witnessed such behaviour they are showing. It is bad," he added.

The trio of Otieno, Nam and Nyaore are yet to comment on the matter.
