Ex-Chelsea star Fabregas wants Varane to join Como
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Varane has been targeted by Italian side Como, with assistant manager Cesc Fabregas leading the charge.
"Como's dream target for the centre-back position is Raphael Varane as free agent. Cesc Fabregas wants Varane and they will try to make it happen, but there are several clubs interested in Europe and abroad – not an easy one. Varane will decide his future soon."
With Varane gone and Victor Lindelof expected to leave, Manchester United are reportedly in the market for two new defenders.
