Manchester United are reportedly set to activate the release clause of their top summer target.
Rasmus Hojlund is set to have some serious competition next season as Manchester United look set to activate Joshua Zirkzee's £34m release clause.
The Netherlands international, who is currently away at Euro 2024, was linked strongly with a move to Italian giants AC Milan but Manchester United have jumped in front of the queue and are now confident they can get a deal done.

Zirkzee to Manchester United
According to The Telegraph, United are preparing to trigger the release clause to snap the 23-year-old from Bologna.
Zirkzee, who is of Nigerian descent, scored 11 goals in Serie A last season, as Bologna sealed an unlikely UEFA Champions League place.
United are also one of several leading clubs bidding for the highly rated Lille centre-back Leny Yoro. Liverpool and Paris-St Germain also want to sign Yoro but it is thought likely that the 18-year-old will end up at Real Madrid.
If one of Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof – who has interest from Fenerbahce – leaves Old Trafford this summer, United are expected to sign two centre-backs.
