Federico Chiesa is reportedly stalling on a move to AS Roma as he prefers to join a club in the English Premier League.
Juventus and AS Roma have reportedly agreed a deal for the transfer of Federico Chiesa.
The Italy international has just one year left on his contract and a renewal has been ruled out, especially as he is not part of the tactical plans for new coach Thiago Motta.
Chiesa stalling on Roma move
According to Sky Sport Italia, Roma and Juventus are ready to shake hands on a deal worth €20m plus bonuses for Federico Chiesa, but the player remains unconvinced.
Chiesa is reportedly hesitant about joining Roma due to his preference for a Champions League club.
According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Chiesa favors a move to England, but Roma remain in contention to sign their top target.
With the asking price now set, other clubs like Bayern Munich, Napoli, Milan, and Premier League teams may also consider submitting bids.
