Les Parisiens were actively working on reaching an agreement on personal terms with Williams, but their efforts have ultimately been unsuccessful, with Williams choosing to reject their advances.

PSG hoped that Williams would be a direct replacement for Mbappe on the left wing and identified the Spain international as a promising talent capable of making an immediate impact in Ligue 1 leading to talks over a summer transfer.
