After this website reported serious interest from four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC, another suitor emerged, this time from Egypt.
Egyptian second-tier side Wadi Degla has come out huge in securing the services of the Uganda Cranes defender.
A member of Wasswa's representatives has confirmed to Pulse Sports Uganda that the Egyptians are serious and keen on notching a deal.
"There is a proposed deal of Wasswa to Wadi Degla in Egypt. At the moment, Wasswa is calm and still assessing his options," the source said.
It should be noted that Wadi Degla is also home to Uganda Cranes and former Vipers SC forward Richard Basangwa.
They finished second in the previous season behind ZED, earning a spot in the Egyptian Division 2 A.
Meanwhile, Wasswa featured 27 times for KCCA last season in the league, missing just one game, as he occasionally partnered with Mustafa Mujuzi, Peter Magambo and Filbert Obenchan.
Previously, he has also played for Vipers and league record holders SC Villa.
