The Manchester United boss believes his team have work to do after Saturday's disappointing home defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim expressed his disappointment after his team's 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest, highlighting their slow start and defensive vulnerabilities.
Man Utd vs Forest
Nikola Milenkovic sent the Tricky Trees 1-0 up after two minutes, and Morgan Gibbs-White put the away side 2-1 up two minutes after the interlude to land another blow on the Red Devils, who had pulled level through Rasmus Hojlund.
Chris Wood worsened the situation for the Manchester giants in minute 54 for 3-1, but Bruno Fernandes halved the deficit just after the hour, as Amorim’s men pushed for a leveller.
Despite controlling periods of the game, United were unable to overcome a poor start and ultimately fell to a disappointing loss.

What Amorim said about Man Utd’s loss
Amorim, fresh off consecutive Premier League defeats as United boss, acknowledged the team's struggles in the early stages, conceding an early goal that put them on the back foot.
He also lamented their defensive lapses, particularly at the start of the second half, which led to two quick goals for Nottingham Forest.
“Tough game. We started really bad, the first play we suffered a goal and then it's hard to try to fight,” Amorim told BBC Sport. “We then controlled the game and had a lot of situations.
"We improved the movement in the last third. We managed to draw the game and then at half-time we were ready to go for the win and then started really bad. Two goals. Then we tried a lot of things with not a lot of quality.
Despite the setback, Amorim remained optimistic about the team's progress, emphasising the need for continued improvement.
"Tough game in a tough moment but we have to continue the job,” said the Man Utd boss. "This is a long journey. We are improving in some aspects. We have to win games to help us improve the team.
"We are in the start of something so big that we pay attention to every detail. We already know it's a big job so we have to continue."
What next for Manchester United?
Amorim's men travel to Viktoria Plzen in Thursday's Europa League action before facing Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, December 15 in their next Premier League game.
