Thika Queens captain Catherine Nakiridde says they have put the painful loss to Nakuru City Queens in the FKF Women’s Cup behind them and are now focusing on their next game against Kangemi Ladies.
The Thika-based side is set to meet Kangemi away at Dagoretti High School in a Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League match on Thursday.

The league defending champions fell to a 2-0 defeat against Nakuru in the domestic cup quarters on Saturday, but Nakiridde is optimistic they will impose themselves in the next match.
“We are feeling awful because we expected a win against City Queens, but I am grateful that my team managed to reach the quarterfinals. We are hoping to come back strong in their league game on Thursday,” she said.
