Napoli boss Antonio Conte has opened up on his side's excellent start to the season after their recent big win over Milan.
After Victor Osimhen's departure on loan to Galatasaray, there were concerns that Napoli would struggle to replace his goals, but Romelu Lukaku has silenced doubters with four goals and four assists in eight games.
"There's great empathy with Romelu," Conte told DAZN.
"He wanted to come to Naples at all costs, waited until the end, and gave up on English teams to join us. He's a good guy, just like everyone here in Naples."
Conte praised his squad, saying, "This is one of the best groups I've had in my career. Everyone's focused on the same goal - the players, the club, the entire environment.
"We've created something special at Castel Volturno, from the warehouseman to the gardener. I breathe beautiful, clean air - passion and enthusiasm. When I find this situation, I live it passionately."
Napoli's stats are staggering: no losses since their opening game, just two goals conceded in nine matches, 18 goals scored, and seven clean sheets.
"We're lucky to have guys who are truly exceptional," Conte added.
"They're ready to die for the team they play for."
