Kitara must win all their remaining three games to be assured of winning the FUFA Big League championship

Coach Sam Ssimbwa had rallied his boys to go all out and beat Luweero United to improve their chances of qualifying and winning the StarTimes FUFA Big League title.

However, his advice lasted only three minutes as they succumbed to Musa Mugerwa’s early goal after only 190 seconds of play.

Paul Mucureezi saved the day with his first goal of the team in the 8th minute but The Royals failed to add settling for the draw.

“It was a difficult game and we appreciate the point even though I had really wanted to get the maximum points from today’s game,” Ssimbwa moaned.

“I had wanted to get at least four points from the remaining away games to push our agenda but we got only one today.

“The pressure is still high and we need to fight hard to win our next game against Soroti City at home so that we can push closer,” he rallies the team again.

Kitara is on top of the table with 52 points while Mbarara City and NEC follow closely with 51 each.

They host Soroti City next week before travelling to ADjumani and then complete their season at home against Kaaro Karungi.
