During an outing for the Parisiens, Mbappe was approached by a young Arsenal fan with the handle @Mikeypoulli on X.
The young fan, recognising Mbappe's contract situation, beseeched him to join Arsenal, saying, ”Please join Arsenal; we will look after you.”
The France national team guffawed after the request and replied, “No way,” as he continued to laugh off the prospect of him joining the North Londoners.
Pressed further as to why he said there was no way he would be joining the Gunners, Mbappe replied, “It's too cold over there.”
Mbappe set to be Real Madrid's number 9
As Pulse Sports reported, Kylian Mbappe's next destination is all but sorted. The former Monaco man is said to have informed Real Madrid he wants them to make the announcement before the Euros, so he can be focused on the competition without the distractions of an unresolved future.
He will also wear the number 9 at Real Madrid, the figure previously donned by his compatriot and former Ballon d'Or winner, Karim Benzema.
