Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola, remains resolute despite overseeing a rare and worrying slump in form, as his side suffered a 4th consecutive defeat for the first time in his managerial career.
This latest setback came on Saturday at the Amex Stadium, where City squandered a first-half lead to lose 2-1 to Brighton.
City had taken the lead in the 23rd minute through a clinical finish by Erling Haaland, and they went into the break holding onto that advantage.
However, the second half proved disastrous for Guardiola’s men as Brighton struck back in the 78th minute through Joao Pedro and, just five minutes later, Matt O'Reily scored again, sealing a stunning comeback that handed City their fourth straight defeat.
