Six nations have already sealed their qualification to the 2023 Africa Cup of nations
Seventeen slots will be contested when match day five of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations resumes on Wednesday 14th June, across the continent.
Already seven teams have confirmed their qualification and will be playing the qualifiers for formality.
Ivory Coast, who were placed in Group H, qualified as hosts but proved their strength by qualifying sportingly after collecting ten points from four outings.
Their tally means that Comoros, who are third in the group with three points, cannot match them in the remaining games.
1976 champions Morocco were the second to qualify in a Group K that remained with three teams after Zimbabwe’s ban.
The other teams include Uganda Cranes’ opponents Algeria, Burkina Faso, Tunisia and the defending champions Senegal.
