Dogo's side currently boasts only three wins, four draws and eight losses as of week 15.

Kwara United's head coach Kabiru Dogo has stated that his team would need to fight harder should they maintain their place in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) next season.

After 15 matches - and with three games to the end of the regular season - the Harmony Boys are placed in 8th in Group A of the 2023 season, just points off relegation places.

So far, they've failed to win any of their last five NPFL fixtures.

The most important thing is to survive, Dogo says

Speaking on his team's chances in the top flight, Dogo stated that remaining in the league was achievable, although it was something his players would have to take seriously.

“The most important thing for us now is to manage and survive. It’s a tough league,” the tactician said according to a report by Daily Post.

“I believe we will get it right, manage and finish well; then, we can plan for another season. We just need the support of everyone involved to achieve this feat,” Dogo added.
