Terem Moffi has revealed the truth about his failed winter move to Marseille
Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi has spoken about his failed move to Marseille in the winter transfer window after the Ligue 1 club tried in vain to bring the Nigerian to the Velodrome.
Moffi was on the demand list of many clubs this winter after starting the 2022/23 Ligue 1 season with 12 goals in his first 18 league games.
Moffi was the subject of a significant transfer battle in January
Marseille, Southampton, and West Ham were all keen on taking the Nigerian forward on board, but Moffi had his mind made up on a move to Nice.

TRANSFERS Marseille enter race to sign Terem Moffi
Marseille have joined the race to sign Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi and are even willing to offer Lorient a player in return.
Marseille had a player plus cash bid for Moffi accepted, but the move broke down when the Super Eagles star made it clear that he only wanted to join Nice.
Despite the chance of joining a potentially bigger club in Marseille, the Calabar-born striker stuck with his choice of joining Nice, believing that they were the best choice for his career.
He got his move after Nice’s 6th bid of the window was accepted by Lorient, and he has taken to his new club like a duck to water.

In an interview ahead of Nice’s match against Paris Saint-Germain, Moffi has spoken about the possible move to Nice, saying it was never on the cards as he had his heart set on joining Les Aiglons.
