Tanzania’s president Samia Suluhu has continued with her unwavering support for Young Africans with 5,000 tickets for their first leg final of the CAF Confederations Cup slated for Saturday, 28th May, in Dar Es Salaam.

Under the new arrangement, all four semi-finalists from the respective competitions are assured of USD 1.2 million and USD 1 million.
Furthermore, Suluhu has offered a private jet to transport the team to Algiers for the return leg and Tshs. 20 million (shs.31.5M) for each goal that the team scores.
Suluhu had earlier on pledged to pay a bounty for each goal scored by both Simba and Yanga at the continent.
The former was eliminated by the defending champions Wydad Casablanca from the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League.

In a communique shared on the Tanzanian Football Federation Twitter handle, the Tanzania Premier League Board revealed that match days 29 and 30 of the NBC Premier League, scheduled for May 24th and 28th, will now be played on June 6th and 9th, 2023 respectively.
President Suluhu delivered, through the government spokesman, Shs. 31.5 million for the two goals the team scored against South African side Marumo Gallants in the semifinal.
