With 11 games remaining to the end of the campaign, the gaffer says their main objective is to make sure they don’t get relegated.
FC Talanta coach Ken Kenyatta was keeping his feet firmly on the ground despite the club's latest win over fellow strugglers Wazito FC.
Talanta produced an assured attacking display as they trounced Wazito 2-0 in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) match played at Ruaraka Grounds on Sunday afternoon.
A goal in each half from Herman Mwambegu and Barack Odhiambo gave Talanta the three points that moved them four points clear of the drop zone.

FKFPL Clinical Talanta leave Wazito deep in relegation muck
Collins Odhiambo, who was one of Wazito standout performers in the first leg was kept quiet by the hosts at Ruaraka.
But Ken Kenyatta stopped short of calling it the best performance and only wants his squad to focus on one game at a time.
"We played a tough game against Wazito, and I thank God that we won the match, and we are only anticipating the next game as this one is history.
We must work for the next game because we need to stay in the league," Kenyatta told Pulse Sports.
Talanta will be looking to continue their mission when they go up against AFC Leopards at Nyayo National Stadium in the match day twenty-four fixture.

FKFPL Ken Kenyatta rants over one-year salary arrears after 6-0 thumping
FC Talanta suffered a humiliating 6-0 defeat at the hands of AFC Leopards.
When the teams met earlier this season at the same venue in February, Leopards thrashed Talanta 6-0 in a match where Kenyatta's charges were a gulf of a class below and struggled to make any response as Leopards ran rings around them.
Talanta are currently at the 14th spot in league standings, a place they have been familiar with since the start of the season.
The Upper Hill-based outfit has only managed to collect 24 points in their last 23 league fixtures but still looks in danger of being relegated.
