A supercomputer predicts the outcome of this Premier League season.
A supercomputer was used to simulate the current Premier League season, and it predicted the team that would win the competition, the Champions League places, the Europa League places, and the relegation places.
The computer predicted that Arsenal, who are currently top of the league and five points clear of the next best team, would win the Premier League with 86.9 points, while Pep Guardiola's men were deemed by the computer to be incapable of catching Arsenal, and the computer simulation predicted them to finish in second place with 79.9 points.
With 73 and 71 points, respectively, Manchester United and Newcastle would take the remaining Champions League slots.
Tottenham (65) and Brighton (63.1) points are predicted to come in 5th and 6th, taking up the UEFA Europa League places, while Liverpool would finish 7th on 57.6 points to qualify for the UEFA Conference League, with Chelsea 8th on 51,9 points, finishing just outside European places.
The computer also predicts Bournemouth (30.4 points), Southampton (33.7 points), and Everton (35.3 points). would be relegated,
