The stumbling block?
According to renowned Nigerian journalist Colin Udoh, USSoccer has also initiated contact with Renard, following a disappointing Copa America outing, which prompted the sacking of Gregg Berhalter.
Per the report, Renard wants a lucrative contract, and with the prospect of the USMNT in the mix, the Super Eagles could be priced out of their target.
