Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheancho could be set to join the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and N'Golo Kante with a move to Saudi Arabia
Leicester City’s Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has been tipped for a mega-money move to Saudi Arabia.
Iheanacho offered Saudi Arabia summer move
The Super Eagles forward who suffered relegation with the Foxes in the 2022/23 season could be spared from playing in England’s lower division after reportedly being offered a move to oil-rich Saudi Arabia.
A number of players from the Premier League in the last few months, including Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy, and Kalidou Koulibaly, as well as Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino, have moved to the Saudi Pro League, and Iheanacho could be the latest to join them.
Iheanacho considering Leicester City exit
According to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, the 26-year-old Nigerian is high on the list of players desired by the Saudi Arabian League and could be tempted by an offer to join other greats like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the Gulf nation.
Iheanacho scored five goals and assisted five more for Leicester in 11 Premier League starts in the 2022/23 campaign, but was unable to save the Foxes from relegation as they finished in 18th position.
The Super Eagles forward is believed to be weighing his options over a summer move after reportedly receiving offers from a number of Premier League clubs along with one from Saudi Arabia.
