Folarin Balogun is eligible to play for England, Nigeria and the United States of America.
As club football is paused for the international break, one of the most in-form strikers in the top five European leagues, Folarin Balogun, will not be in action for the duration, as he has yet to make a decision on his international career.
The 21-year-old Arsenal loanee at Reims is eligible to play for the USA, his country of birth; England, who he has represented at youth levels; and Nigeria, his country of descent.
Balogun is spoilt for choices and says no decision has been made in his international career.
What Balogun said
Balogun was in front of the camera at the Rennes training ground, where he was asked questions about his international career.
He replied that he had not decided but hinted at his desires, saying he wanted to play international football at the highest level and compete at World Cups.
"My international future is not decided yet," Balogun said.
"But of course, I want to play international football at the highest level, I want to compete at World Cups.
"I want to put myself in positions where I am performing in front of millions of people."
Balogun has made 28 appearances for England at the u-17, u-18, u-20 and u-21 levels. He has also appeared four times for the USA's u-18 team.
Flo Balogun this season
Balogun is on a season-long loan at Reims from Arsenal, and he has been one of the best players in Will Still's side and the league, in general, this season.
Balogun's 17 league goals are the most by any Reims player this season; the next-best on the list has five goals. His tally is also only bettered by two players in Ligue 1.
