Ulinzi Stars continue newly-found momentum with victory over Tusker to put pressure on Robert Matano as Bandari snatch dramatic victory over Police.

Murang’a Seal 2-1 Nairobi City Stars

Murang’a Seal continued their dream start to the season with a 2-1 win over  Nairobi City Stars at the Saint Sebastian Park in Murang’a on Wednesday afternoon.

Seal opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Erick Balecho's shot on goal hit the post before Tito Kapchanga reacted quickly to send the rebound home.

They made it two in the 60th minute, but City Stars scored what proved to be a consolation goal through Robin Asenwa, and in the end, Seal got all the three points, which now means that they have amassed 17 points after nine games so far this season.

Bandari 3-2 Kenya Police

Bandari put behind their disappointment of losing to Posta Rangers a few days ago with a 3-2 win over a beleaguered Kenya Police at the Mbaraki Stadium on Wednesday.

Bandari opened the scoring just before the break through Derrick Nsibambi, who put Police into the lead after being set up well by captain Hassan Abdallah.

The game would take until stoppage time for the floodgates to open, as the Law Enforcers thought they had salvaged something.

However, Bandari would go 2-1 up in the 94th  minute through Shahiri Nahimana, before Police equalized again in the 96th minute for Police.

This did not deter Bandari, who netted late again through Beja Nyamawi a minute later to give them a precious three points albeit in dramatic circumstances.

Tusker 0-1 Ulinzi

Tusker’s bad start to the season continued as they lost 1-0 to Ulinzi Stars at the Ruaraka Grounds in Nairobi.

A goal by old boy Boniface Muchiri was enough to give the Soldiers all the three points to pile the misery on Robert Matano, who will be under severe pressure, while Antony Kimani appears to have turned the corner after a shaky start to life as Ulinzi boss.
