Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga had to shut down a critical fan who sought to water down the work he is doing with his MOFA Academy.
Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga was forced to silence a hateful fan who was out to discredit his work with the MOFA Academy.
Olunga has been updating his fans on social media regarding the progress of the Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) while also using the opportunity to celebrate the success of the team.
However, not everyone is happy with the journey he is on to offer opportunities to budding footballers with a fan claiming the academy is full of overage players.

Ex-Harambee Stars coach Ghost Mulee reveals how ‘White Wizard’s’ last African dance ended in tactical drama
After three years, former Harambee Stars coach Jacob Mulee has revealed how he outsmarted Togo's "White Wizard" Claude Le Roy.
The comment did not go down well with Olunga who sought to set the record straight and that is when a war of words began before the striker went on to shut the critic.
"Hii academy imejaa wazee (This academy is full of overage players)," the fan claimed on X
"Am sure haujui anything kuhusu @MofaAcademy. But naeza kuelimisha for free ukitaka. At my own cost. (I am sure you know nothing about MOFA Academy but I can educate you for free if you so wish)," Olunga fired back.
He then went ahead to claim Olunga has no capacity to offer any help since he has been asking for support towards MOFA Academy, to which the striker shut him up.
"1. Kama we ni masikini sio kila mtu ni masikini.(Not everyone is as poor as you are).. 2. Nilienda Naivasha kwa sababu nilikuwa holiday na hio ni starehe yangu, vile wewe pia uko na starehe yako. (I went to Naivasha because I was on holiday, and that is my luxury, just like you have your own luxury) 3. Exposure ni kitu mzuri, ukizoea mtumba all your life (which is not bad ) sio kila mtu anapiga mtumba (If you are used to wearing second hand clothes all your life, not everyone does that). 4. Stay on your lane," Olunga fired back.
The exchange is just one of many vile comments that Olunga has had to respond to in a bid to shut down or school critics keen to discredit his work and career.
The striker, believed to be among the top three highest earning Kenyan footballers, continues doing his talking on the pitch and made history by becoming the all-time top scorer for his club Al Duhail when he netted his 121st goal for them on Sunday.
