Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has been linked with a January move away from Chippa United.

South African giants Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly keen on snapping up Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.

Nwabali has been in demand since starring for Nigeria at AFCON 2023, and the Chiefs have been attentive to his situation at Chippa United.

Other clubs across Europe and Saudi Arabia have shown an interest, including the likes of English Championship side QPR but a move is yet to materialise for the 28-year-old shot-stopper.

There were strong links to Kaizer Chiefs in the summer but Nwabali stayed with Chippa on an improved deal, but it appears the rumours have refused to go away.

According to reports, the Chiefs will formally re-ignite their interest in Nwabali and could make a move as early as January to upgrade their goalkeeping position.

The former Enyimba shot-stopper has once again impressed this season, with four clean sheets in 11 league appearances for Chippa United.

Chippa's next game is against the Chiefs, which should provide an opportunity for the goalkeeper to enhance his reputation further.
