Stanbic Uganda Cup defending champions Vipers SC have confirmed the return of two of their stars, Hillary Mukundane and Alfred Macumu Mudekereza, to full fitness.
The pair have been part of full training for over two weeks now and have played a couple of friendly games with the Venoms.
Mudekereza, a versed goalkeeper and Mukundane have been out for months but are available for selection as Vipers take on Lugazi Stars FC in the Round of 64 at Mehta Stadium later in the day.
"Alfred Mudekereza and Hillary Mukundane are physically fit and looked good in training and friendly matches since recovering from long-term injuries," the club confirmed in a statement.
"Both haven’t played yet in the Uganda Premier League since August 20th, 2023, but are fully available for selection tomorrow."
