"Of course we are gonna go through," he asserted before adding: "We're going to go through I'm confident. The boys will play with high intensity, and I can't wait to play. Even now, if they want, they can come," he added.

Despite facing joint-record winners KCCA FC (10) in the Round of 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup, URA FC head coach David Obua's confidence is sky-high and he casts no doubt about progress into the quarterfinals.

The two sides face off at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi later on Monday with a spot in the quarters up for grabs.

"We won the last game (2-0 over Maroons FC). We are going with the same mentality, URA has to win," Obua told the club media ahead of the clash.

"Of course we are gonna go through," he asserted before adding: "We're going to go through I'm confident. The boys will play with high intensity, and I can't wait to play. Even now, if they want, they can come," he added.

Obua added about how he's not frightened of the stage, especially because they are playing a fellow topflight team for the first time in this edition.

"It's not a top-tier side (KCCA), we are the top-tier side," Obua joked.

"When they gave us that draw, I was happy because we need to exert ourselves. We need to show everyone how good we are, and you have to play the best to be the best."

This is the third time URA will face KCCA this season, having beaten them 2-1 in FUFA Super 8, before the latter managed a 3-2 revenge in the Uganda Premier League.
