URA has signed Godfrey Sekibengo, John Innocent Kisolo and Amisi Bwangani from Kitovu.
St. Mary’s Kitovu head coach Fred Kasekende has noted that the school will prioritise the education of the three players who recently joined Uganda Premier League side URA FC.
The three include attacking midfielder Godfrey Sekibengo, John Innocent Kisolo and Amisi Bwangani.
The latter is 19 years and sitting his A-level, while the other two are sixteen years of age.
“This is s a good step to their development as they start their professional playing career, and we believe URA was the right place for them,” Fred Kasekende, the head coach at SHACK, said.
The coach has emphasised that the school has agreed on modalities to balance the equation.
“Much as we want them to do their best, we have to emphasize their education which is very key to us as an institution.
“We’ve already discussed some modalities with URA on how they’ll balance both, and they’re supportive,” he explained further.
The three are expected to guide SHACK to their first-ever East African games.
