He started his career with Nigerian side Enugu Rangers before moving to Germany with Third Division side Borussia Neunkirchen.

His exploits took him to Eintracht Frankfurt, Fenerbahce, PSG, Bolton Wanderers, Hull City, and then Qatar SC.

Okocha won several trophies across his career, including individual honours, winning the BBC African Footballer of the Year on two occasions.

Speaking to Pulse Sports editor Joba Ogunwale, Okocha spoke about his career and whether he had any regrets.

First of all, I'd say I don't really have regrets because sometimes you set a target for yourself and you surpass it.

"I never knew I would get to the heights I reached and I don't want to be carried away or get greedy.

"Of course along the line, I would have loved to achieve some other things but some things are not meant to be"
