Somalia national futsal head coach Mohammed Yasin has selected a 15-man squad to face the Nile Cranes in a series of friendly matches at the Old Kampala Arena.
Yasin, also head coach of Kisenyi Futsal Club, who ply their trade in the Futsal Super League and will lead his charges in two friendly games against Uganda on 15th July and 22nd July 2023.
“This has been a long time coming, and we want to continue the win we had all those years ago,” Yasin Pulse said.

Futsal Association Uganda intended to use the friendly games against Somalia to create a clear path for a national team.
“But we are facing a solid team and will do everything possible to win the game.”
“We are looking to putting up a strong fight to make sure that we make our community proud of us, and we are prepared for this big test,” he added.

Uganda will take on Somalia in two highly anticipated Futsal friendly matches at the Old Kampala Sports Arena on Saturday, the 15th of July and the 22nd of July 2023.
The Ocean Stars won their last encounter in 2018 (5-3) over two legs and hope to get one over the Nile Cranes.
