The Oluyole Warriors want to make amends after a disappointing start to the season that has left them in relegation waters.
Shooting Stars coach Gbenga Ogunbote has demanded a reaction from his players ahead of their outing in the NPFL.
The Stars have only taken two points from a possible nine and will return to the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan for a week four encounter against El Kanemi Warriors.
Oluyole Warriors are looking to bounce back from the poor defeat to regional rivals Remo Stars in mid-week and also to register their first win of the season.
The Ibadan-based side suffered a 2-0 defeat in mid-week in what was a dominant win for their hosts Remo in Ikenne.
Heading into week four, 3SC have the chance to make amends in front of their fans when they go face-to-face with El Kanemi.
Ogunbote asks player to make El-Kanemi pay
With his side rooted in relegation waters, Ogunbote has tasked his players to put an end to their poor run so far in the football league.
Speaking to the club media, 3SC media, ahead of the crucial encounter, the former Rangers and Lobi Stars boss told his players to put the performances from the previous game and pacify their supporters by making the visitors pay on Sunday.
"We must put behind us the results of the previous games," Ogunbote said. "We are left with no other option than to beat El Kanemi (Warriors) here on Sunday and I believe that's achievable."
El Kanemi must pay
The last time the Oluyole Warriors played in front of their fans at the Lekan Salami, they failed to make it count, leaving their supporters disappointed after dropping two points.
3SC were held to a goalless draw by vistors, Kwara United, but the Oracle believes it's time to put a smile on the faces of the fans with a win and three points to kick start their season.
"We let our people down by failing to beat Kwara and i know we were all disappointed," he added.
"This time, we must make El Kanemi pay for that by beating them - that's the only way we can regain the confidence of our supporters and fans."A
