Shabana FC have made public the astonishing financial success of their Sunday's clash against Nairobi City Stars in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL).

In a thrilling encounter that left fans on the edge of their seats, both teams played to an exhilarating 2-2 draw at the iconic Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay.

The attendance records revealed that 4,517 devoted fans filled the stadium to cheer on their beloved Shabana, collectively contributing a staggering sum of Ksh 658,300 to the club's coffers.

This remarkable achievement marks an upward trajectory from their previous home fixture against Kariobangi Sharks on September 23rd, which had amassed Ksh 651,500.

The revenue breakdown from this electrifying match showcases the unwavering support Shabana enjoys from their dedicated fan base. VIP tickets, numbering 1,213, were eagerly purchased at Ksh 300 each, resulting in an impressive total of Ksh 363,900.

Meanwhile, regular tickets, a hot commodity at Ksh 100 per ticket, were in high demand, with 2,944 fans securing their spots in the stands, ultimately amounting to a substantial sum of Ksh 294,400.

The elated club expressed their gratitude to the loyal fans, stating, "Asante sana for all those who made it to Raila Odinga Stadium, Homabay for our match." The sentiment was echoed by the club as they added, "It was great seeing the Stadium painted red and white. Looking forward to more of that from our wonderful fans."

Since the commencement of the league, Shabana has hosted four thrilling home matches, collectively generating an impressive figure of around Ksh 2.3 million.

The future looks promising for Shabana as they gear up for their next home fixture against the formidable Gor Mahia on Wednesday, November 1st.

Given the massive following and fan base of both teams, the match is expected to be a spectacle. However, due to the overwhelming number of fans anticipated to attend, the match is likely to be played in Nairobi, a strategic move to accommodate the supporters.

It is worth noting that the Raila Odinga Stadium, Shabana's temporary home ground, can only host a maximum of 20,000 fans, making this relocation a sensible choice to ensure the safety and comfort of all spectators.
