A couple of FKFPL players have made the cut, including Shabana’s Delphine Omuri, as well as Ulinzi Stars’ Lucas Maina.

Junior Stars head coach Salim Babu has named the provisional squad for the upcoming CECAFA U18 tournament set to kick off on November 25 in Nairobi.

The team consists a blend of students and those that participate in various tournaments and FKF-run leagues in the country.

A couple of FKFPL players have made the cut. Kariobangi Sharks’ trio of Stanley Wilson, Mathew Kibiwott and Evans Aroko have made the squad, as well as Ulinzi Stars’ Lucas Maina, Shabana’s Delphine Omuri and Kakamega Homeboyz’ Ibrahim Wanzala.

Additionally, 11 National Super League stars have made the team, including players from Rainbow, Mombasa Star’s and Migori Youth.

National Secondary School Games champions St Anthony’s and finalists Shanderema have produced six and three players respectively. Most notably, former St Anthony’s forward Aldrine Kibet, who is currently based in Spain, and Shanderema duo of Mark Shaban and Kelly Madada.

Kakamega School’s Green Commandos, have four players, led by captains Jack Ongaya and Clement Kawere.

Also, Chapa Dimba tournament stand out player Derrick Oketch from Ebwali Secondary School makes the squad.
