Shabana have revealed impressive gate collections from their 2-1 victory over AFC Leopards, fueled by passionate fan attendance.

Shabana FC have revealed the gate takings from their recent match against AFC Leopards that ended in a narrow 2-1 win at Gusii Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The match, which saw Shabana put up a spirited fight against the Leopards, attracted a massive turnout at the iconic stadium.

The loyal Tore Bobe faithful turned up in droves creating an electrifying atmosphere that proved instrumental in boosting the club's coffers.

Shabana collected a staggering gross revenue of KSh 831,300 from gate collections.

On the pitch, Shabana started the match on a high note under the guidance of head coach Peter Okidi, who recently replaced Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo.

The team, riding the momentum of two back-to-back league wins looked determined to continue their streak.

In the 33rd minute, Brian Michira delivered a stunning bullet header from a precise cross by Matthew Tegisi on the right flank sending the home crowd into rapturous celebration.

The early goal energized the team who maintained their attacking intensity.

Just four minutes later, Justin Omwandho outmaneuvered Ingwe’s left-back Vincent Mahiga to deliver a perfect ball into the box. Michira capitalized on the opportunity and slotted it past AFC Leopards goalkeeper Humphrey Katasi doubling Shabana's lead and sending their supporters into a frenzy.

However, AFC Leopards, under pressure to salvage their season, clawed their way back into the match.

A defensive miscommunication between Shabana captain George Orako and goalkeeper Stephen Ochieng in the 41st minute proved costly.

Bonface Munyendo intercepted Orako's misplaced back pass and coolly scored, narrowing the deficit for the Leopards.

The second half of the game was a mixed bag of emotions and challenges.

A heavy downpour forced a temporary halt to proceedings, but both teams returned to the pitch determined to secure a positive result.

Shabana held firm against Leopards’ relentless attacks, with their defense stepping up to deny the visitors any further breakthroughs.

On the other hand, the defeat deepened the woes for AFC Leopards and their coach Thomas Trucha.

Ingwe have now suffered four losses in their last eight matches leaving fans increasingly frustrated with the lackluster performances.

Trucha faces mounting pressure to turn things around quickly or risk further backlash from the club’s passionate supporters.
