The victory marked a breakthrough moment for Shabana, who had previously struggled to secure a win, despite some close encounters earlier in the season.
Shabana assistant coach Peter Okidi took a fresh approach to the lineup, making adjustments that saw Sam Kintu and Omwando Justine Maasai return to bolster the midfield.
Additionally, Vincent Nyabuto, James Mazembe, and Mark Okolla reclaimed starting positions.
Police FC who came into the fixture with an unbeaten record to protect fielded a strong side with veteran Patrick Matasi in goal.
