Shabana FC shift plans for their highly-anticipated clash against Murang'a Seal

The highly-anticipated clash between Shabana and Murang'a Seal was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 29.

Shabana FC has announced the rescheduling of their FKF Premier League match vs Murang’a Seal originally scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at the Gusii Stadium.

The highly anticipated clash as league action resumes following the international break has now been moved to Sunday, March 30.

Shabana announced the postponement via the club’s X page, while also issuing an apology for the inconvenience.

“The much-anticipated FKF PL match - Shabana Fc vs MSEAL FC, earlier scheduled to be played on Saturday, 29th March 2025, 2PM EAT at Gusii Stadium, has been postponed to Sunday 30th March 2025, 2PM at Gusii Stadium. Apologies for any inconvenience caused,” read the communication from the club.

Th Glamour boys are gearing up for the league run in aiming for a respectable finish in the league.

Gusii has become a fortress for the Tore Bobe who are seeking a return to winning ways against Murang’a Seal following their 1-1 draw against AFC Leopards away from home at the Machakos stadium.

The March 16 fixture saw Ovella Ochieng cancel out Nyabuto Omundi’s opener to deny Shabana all three points.

Currently placing sixth with 34 points, the Peter Okidi-coached side will need a win to keep pace with the likes of Kenya Police, Tusker and Gor Mahia at the summit.

Kenya Police lead the log with 45 points trailed by Tusker (44) and Gor Mahia (42) in second and third respectively.

In their way however is a Murang’a Seal side eager to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Currently placing just, a point above the relegation zone, Seal are winless in their last five fixtures, losing four and drawing one.

Gusii Stadium will be a tough test for them as Shabana eye a return to winning ways.
