Tore Bobe face adversity as key consulting partner departs, adding to woes as they struggle in the 2023-2024 FKF Premier League season.

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Shabana has suffered another setback as their long-standing consulting company, Beest Athletic Sports Wear, announced its departure from the club.

This abrupt termination comes shortly after the recent separation from their coach, Sammy Okoth, following a turbulent start to the 2023-2024 FKF Premier League season.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Beest Athletic Sports Wear founder, Michael Gwei, chose not to divulge the specifics of their decision to sever ties with the club, leaving fans and supporters speculating about the reasons behind this unexpected move.

"We would like to announce the termination of our services to Shabana Football Club. The journey and the memories made, from the NSL to the Premier League, have been memorable," read the statement.

The consulting company had been an integral part of Shabana FC's journey, witnessing their transformation from an emerging group to one of the most vibrant teams in the country.

"The fans and the fan base have been exceptional and will always be. Our time with the team has been amazing, and we leave behind a stronger fan base, management, and membership structures that will propel the team for years," the statement continued.

Beest Athletic Sports Wear's association with Shabana FC officially came to an end in the first week of October 2023, leaving the club to face an uncertain future without their valued partner.

Despite the sudden termination, the company extended its best wishes to the Shabana community and fans, expressing hope for more memorable moments as they continue to support the team they love.

While the exact reasons for the company's withdrawal remain undisclosed to the public, they assured that they had communicated their decision to the club's management.

Shabana FC had been on cloud nine when they secured promotion back to Kenya's top-tier league after more than a decade away.

However, the return to the Premier League has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride.

Coach Sammy Okoth, who played a pivotal role in the club's resurgence, faced immense pressure as the team struggled in the opening ten games of the 2023-2024 season.

With just one win to their name since their elevation, Shabana FC finds themselves languishing at the bottom of the league table.

This dire performance paints a grim picture of their survival prospects in the intense and highly competitive league.
