Shabana have recorded three draws in their first five matches but coach Sammy Okoth is not losing sleep over it as he has backed his team to start winning soon
Shabana head coach Sammy Okoth is confident that his side will start posting wins soon after managing three draws and two defeats in their opening five Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) games.
Tore Bobe came from behind to draw 1-1 with AFC Leopards at the Ulinzi Complex on Sunday, a third such result this season, after also tying with FC Talanta and Kenya Police, added to identical 1-0 losses to Murang’a Seal and Kariobangi Sharks.

While the fans left frustrated that their team failed to pick maximum points once more, Okoth is not losing sleep over it as he feels his team is on the right track since it is still learning how to cope with the demands of the Premier League.
The former Vihiga United coach has drawn confidence from the fact that his players have addressed the issue of conceding late goals which let them down in their opening four matches of the season and converting their chances is what is left to make them a formidable outfit.

“Against AFC Leopards, they only had one chance against us which shows the strides we have made in terms of tightening things at the back and that is growth.
“Every day there is growth, the next thing we are going to work on in training is how to convert our chances because we could not focus on scoring when we were conceding.
