The Luzira-based outfit has notched two victories and a draw in their opening matches, with both wins achieved on the road. This accomplishment, Senfuma believes, has added an extra spark to their campaign.

Maroons FC's head coach, Mohammed Senfuma, is savoring his team's impressive start to the season.

The Luzira-based outfit has notched two victories and a draw in their opening matches, with both wins achieved on the road. This accomplishment, Senfuma believes, has added an extra spark to their campaign.

"Securing two wins away from home is immensely motivating. It instills in us the belief that we can continue this trend throughout the season," Senfuma shared with Pulse Sports.

"It's noteworthy that last season we were dominant at home. But now, we're bagging maximum points on our travels. We aim to maintain this momentum," Senfuma.

The season kicked off on a high for Senfuma's team with a resounding 3-0 victory over Wakiso Giants. This was followed by a 1-1 draw at home against SC—Villa.

Their 2-1 triumph against KCCA FC at the MTN Omondi marked Maroons' second victory of the campaign, taking their goal tally to six.

Forward Fred Amaku attributes Tuesday's win to a preseason friendly they played in September at the Luzira Prisons Stadium, where Maroons clinched a 2-1 win.

"That friendly provided insights into our opponents' strengths and weaknesses. We strategized accordingly and executed our plan to perfection," Amaku relayed to this website.

Currently sitting third on the leaderboard with seven points, Maroons are gearing up to challenge the in-form BUL FC away post the international break.

Abbey Kikomeko's BUL FC, alongside Kitara FC, holds the distinction of being the only teams in the premier league to secure victories in all their initial three fixtures.
