The soft-spoken tactician looking to pick up his ninth league win of the campaign against the record league champions says it will be a challenging game, but they are well prepared.
Maroons FC head coach Mohamad Senfuma knows precisely what is at stake when his side hosts SC Villa on Wednesday in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The soft-spoken tactician looking to pick up his ninth league win of the campaign against the record league champions says it will be a challenging game, but they are well prepared.
"We are always prepared, and we're ready for Villa; they top the log, so we respect them because they've done well so far, but we want to earn maximum points," Senfuma noted.
"Our strategy won't be different from the one we used when we won against URA FC, we just have to play as a unit with the players understanding their roles on the day, and we shall be good."
David Ndihabwe, Denis Odipiyo and Hadadi Kambugu are some players ruled out ahead of the game.
However, also doubtful is the club's leading scorer Fred Amaku who picked up a knock in Maroons' last league game, a 3-2 win over URA FC.

SUPL Etrude fired up to face former employer SC Villa, targeting maximum points
Maroons FC midfielder Abel Etrude is equally fired up, having previously featured for the record league champions for three seasons; the midfield anchorman says he can not wait to face his former side, especially at this crucial point in the season.
Maroons will have to deal without Amaku, who has scored ten goals Senfuma affirmed that every player on the team could deliver.
"We have several players available, and we trust them, so whoever is selected can do a good job."
Maroons have made the Luzira stadium a fortress, beating KCCA FC and picking two points off URA FC and Vipers SC, respectively.
SC Villa sits on top of the log with 46 points after 24 games played, and a win against Maroons would get them back to the summit of the table if KCCA FC fails to win against Onduparaka FC on Tuesday.
For Maroons FC, a win would move them from seventh to fourth on 36 points, two ahead of URA FC.
