Mwere had been approached by URA FC and SC Villa but the former lost interest while a deal with the latter failed to materialise last week.
BUL FC Coach Abbey Kikomeko has raided Uganda Premier League side Busoga United for defender Nicholas Mwere’s signature.
The coach has brought in a number of players who worked with him at Busoga United and has beaten URA and SC Villa to sign the lanky left-footed versatile left-back.
Mwere, a fierce FUFA Beach Soccer League striker, had attracted BUL’s eye before last season, but Busoga United held onto their prized asset by then.

Kikomeko believes that Tezikya’s reunion with his former striking partner Joel Madondo will spark the two to return to their best at BUL.
“I am excited to join BUL FC, the Eastern Giants,” Mwere told the club media during the unveiling on Monday.
“BUL is a winning team, they recently won the Uganda cup, and I expect to win with them more titles.”
“I will try to defend better and help the team achieve its targets. We are going to work together and win together,” he added.
