Liverpool returned to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Jurgen Klopp's penultimate game at Anfield.

Both teams were eager to bounce back after tough results in recent weeks and Tottenham started strong. However, the hosts created the best chances early on, with Mohamed Salah hitting the crossbar and forcing a save from Guglielmo Vicario in the opening 10 minutes.
Salah eventually broke the deadlock with a header from Cody Gakpo's cross, and Liverpool took control. Luis Díaz almost set up the Egyptian again, but Emerson Royal made an incredible tackle and block to deny a certain goal.

Tensions rose as Emerson and Cristian Romero clashed at halftime, and things only got worse for Tottenham. Gakpo headed in his 15th goal of the season, and Harvey Elliott curled in a stunning strike to make it 3-0.
Tottenham fought back, with Richarlison scoring and setting up Heung-min Son to narrow the gap.
However, Liverpool held on for their first win in three games, while Tottenham suffered their fourth consecutive Premier League defeat, conceding 13 goals in the process.
