Robben settles football GOAT debate
During a conversation on the TOUZANI YouTube channel, Robben, who starred for Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid, during his illustrious career, made his admiration for Messi clear.
The Dutchman, known for his own incredible skill and pace, described Messi as being on a different level compared to others.
"When I talk about it with the guys... the best ever, the absolute best ever... Messi doesn't rely on tricks. He just does everything quickly. He has control, speed, and agility," said Robben.
Ronaldo and Messi still going strong in career twilight
At 37, Messi continues to show his brilliance on the field, now playing for Inter Miami. Since his move to Florida, the Argentine has already lifted the Leagues Cup and secured a Supporters' Shield, further adding to his trophy cabinet to make him the most decorated player in football history.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo, who moved to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr in 2023, remains in top form at the age of 39, contributing to his team’s Arab Club Champions Cup victory last year. Ronaldo has shown no signs of slowing down, with eight goals in nine appearances this season.
Both players are entering the twilight years of their careers, but even as they edge closer to 40, Ronaldo and Messi continue to dominate, leaving fans and pundits alike in awe of their unmatched longevity and brilliance on the pitch.
