Some have fallen out of favour and thus their probability of leaving is very high.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to release six players in order to raise funds for the transfer window.

Harry Maguire – who conceded a goal against Sevilla in the first leg of the Europa League match before taking joint responsibility in the return leg with David de Gea for Sevilla’s opener – tops the list.

Maguire has made just 15 starts this season after falling down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag. Although he was bought for £80 million in 2019, his current market price is set at £22 million by Transfermarket.

Anthony Martial is the other player set for the axe. Through an injury, the forward has missed over 30 games this season. With his injury history, Martial is seen as a liability due to his unreliability.

Either Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Diogo Dalot will leave if United manage to seal a deal for Jeremie Frimpong.

Wan-Bissaka was signed from Crystal Palace for £50 million in 2019 but is currently priced at £19.4 million. He was offered to other clubs last summer without success, and this means the probability of him leaving is higher than Dalot's.

Brandon Williams, who has just played for five minutes under the current management, is likely to leave too.

Eric Bailly and Alex Telles are also on the verge of leaving Old Trafford. The Ivorian is with Marseille in France, while Telless is with Sevilla, and both clubs are understood not to be keen on keeping them beyond this season.

The departure of these players is expected to raise new funds to boost United’s financial muscle in the upcoming transfer market.
