Juventus are expected to part ways with manager Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the season.
Juventus defeated Atalanta to seal the Coppa Italia but that trophy will not save Max Allegri's job.
The Bianconeri have been in poor form, with no wins in their previous six games. and they needed a 91st-minute equaliser to avoid defeat at home to relegated Salernitana on Sunday.
Juventus to sack Allegri?
Allegri’s popularity with supporters has been at a low point and it is widely expected that the club will move on from him at the end of this campaign.
Thiago Motta, is the leading candidate to take over at Allianz Stadium next season.
Juventus director Giuntoli has been in talks with the representatives of the ex-Italy international for a while and would have sacked Allegri anyway at the end of the season.
However, the Italian tactician’s behaviour during the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta could lead to a quicker decision from Giuntoli and the board.
