AC Milan are reportedly finalizing the departure of head coach Stefano Pioli.
The news of Pioli's impending sack comes after his side lost 2-1 in Monday night's Milan derby, handing the title to eternal rivals Inter Milan.
Milan to sack Pioli
Milan won the Scudetto two seasons ago under Pioli but failed to defend their crown last year when Napoli won the title.
They were the closest team to rivalling Inter this year but yesterday's win put the Nerazzuri a stunning 17 points clear.
The Rossoneri also failed to make it beyond the quarter-final stage of the Europa League, after a UEFA Champions League group stage exit.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Pioli's fate has already been sealed.
He took to X to write:
"Stefano Pioli will be sacked by AC Milan board at the end of the season despite public statements after the Derby."
Antonio Conte has been touted as a possible replacement, and he is believed to be open to the role.
