The Red Devils were said to be keen on RB Leipzig youngster Benjamin Sesko to replace the departing Anthony Martial only for news of the 21-year-old’s contract extension to break on Tuesday.
According to ESPN, Man United are swiftly moving on from the Slovenian deciding to stay in Germany, and are keen on adding any player from a three-striker shortlist that includes Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee, Brentford’s Ivan Toney, Lille’s Jonathan David.

Zirkzee is a target for Premier League rivals Arsenal and Serie A giants AC Milan after a stellar season at Bologna that saw the Nigeria-eligible forward score 11 times and assist four as the Rossoblu ended in the Champions League positions for the first time.
Zirkzee, 23, reportedly has a €40m buyout clause in his Bologna contract.
